Goals

Short Term Goals:

  • Achieve formal recognition of the Global Romani Coalition by international bodies, including the UN and the EU.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive membership and governance structure for the Coalition.

  • Establish a global network of Roma representatives and activists for effective communication and collaboration.

  • Initiate diplomatic dialogues with key international stakeholders to advocate for Roma rights and recognition.

  • Launch targeted advocacy campaigns to raise awareness about the Roma community's challenges and aspirations.

  • Facilitate the signing of Memorandums of Understanding among member organizations to formalize collaboration and define shared objectives.

  • Conduct extensive research to identify and address the immediate needs of the Roma community across various regions.

  • Organize international conferences and forums to discuss Roma issues and strategies for advocacy and representation.

 

Long Term Goals:

  • Secure international recognition of the Roma as a non-territorial nation or stateless nation.

  • Transition the Global Romani Coalition into an interim government representing the global Roma community.

  • Develop and implement a global election system for the Roma community to democratically elect their representatives in each country.

  • Establish a fully functional global Romani self-government to advocate for and represent the interests of the Roma at international platforms.

  • Formulate and influence policies at national and international levels that directly benefit the socio-economic development of the Roma.

  • Strengthen the global network of Roma communities and ensure their active participation in cultural, political, and economic spheres.

  • Create sustainable programs for education, healthcare, and economic empowerment tailored to the needs of the Roma community.

  • Foster a global understanding and appreciation of Roma culture, history, and contributions to society.
